1. Objectives of the Personal Data Protection Charter
Attaching great importance to respecting the privacy of Users (hereinafter referred to as “You”), the Site Publisher provides You with its Personal Data Protection Charter in order to inform You in the most transparent manner of the processing implemented in the context of the use of Products and Services, Site services (such as Newsletter subscriptions, publication mailings, surveys …). This Charter complies with current regulations and in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (RGPD), and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. This Personal Data Protection Charter forms an integral part of the “General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Site”. This Charter describes the procedures for collecting, recording and processing Personal Data concerning You obtained when consulting or registering on the Site.
2. Personal Data
In general, the Site Publisher undertakes to ensure that Personal Data concerning You :
- Is obtained and processed fairly, lawfully and transparently,
– Collected for specific and lawful purposes based on the Site Publisher’s legitimate interest in communicating about its field of activity, informing You and improving our Products and Services, - Be used in accordance with these purposes,
- are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to these purposes, in compliance with the principle of minimization.
The various categories of Personal Data collected when using the Services offered on our Site are as follows: - Identification data (notably surname, first name, customer number) ;
- Contact data (e.g. postal or e-mail address);
- Usage data (in particular web pages visited, destinations called);
- Connection data (in particular your computer’s IP address, connection and usage logs);
- Commercial data (list of products and services available to you);
- Content data.
The various categories of Personal Data collected as part of the management of applications with a view to recruitment (CVs, interview reports, … etc.) are processed by the Site Publisher, in its capacity as data controller on the basis of the company’s legitimate interest in assessing the applicant’s suitability for the job or jobs that may be offered to him or her during the period of retention of his or her Data, as well as the need to take steps prior to the conclusion of the employment contract. These are as follows: - Candidate identification data (in particular, first name, surname, photograph, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address);
- Professional experience, training, languages.
3. Recipients
Your Personal Data may be processed by authorized personnel (marketing, sales, customer relations, administrative, HR and functional support departments) of Galitt and other entities of the Site Publisher. If these recipients are required to process your Personal Data outside the European Union, transfers will be made in compliance with the Regulations.
4. Purposes
Personal Data is collected for the following purposes:
- Distribution of information,
- Management and administration of User accounts,
- Management of User requests
- Management of User opinions,
- Blog moderation, Prospecting, Competitions and promotional operations,
- Personalized studies for prospecting purposes,
- Statistics,
- Surveys and polls,
- Newsletter subscription management,
- Management of recruitment and internship campaigns, planning of HR development actions, management of employment contracts.
5. User rights
The Site Publisher undertakes to provide You with :
– a right of access, rectification, deletion, portability, limitation, opposition, definition of directives relating to the fate of your Personal Data after your death following a request sent by post or electronically to the Publishing Company responsible for processing (your requests will be taken into account within a maximum period of one month).

In the event of non-compliance by the Site Publisher with its obligations under current legislation/regulations, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), or to bring the matter before any competent court.
The Personal Data that will be communicated to You in the context of exercising your right of access will be personal and confidential. In order for your access request to be taken into account, You must send the elements necessary for your identification, i.e., a written statement on your honour in which You certify that You are the owner of the said Personal Data, as well as a photocopy of an identity document.
6. Retention of Personal Data
The Site Publisher retains Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes or to enable us to meet our legal obligations.
Personal Data relating to recruitment management are kept for a period of twenty-four (24) months after Galitt’s last contact with the candidate.
7. Collection and use of Personal Data
7. 1. Registration Data
If You are a customer of the Site Publisher’s Products or Services, the Site Publisher may send You, by post and/or e-mail, in particular in the form of a newsletter (hereinafter referred to as the “Newsletter”), information enabling You to find out more about the Site Publisher’s Products or Services and, with Your consent, the Products or Services of the Group’s Companies (periodic newsletters). In the event that You no longer wish to receive a Newsletter, You will be able to unsubscribe by clicking on a dedicated link included in said Newsletters.

During your visit, the Site Publisher may place a “cookie” on your computer. A “cookie” records information relating to your computer’s browsing of the Site (pages viewed, date and time of viewing, etc.) which the Site Publisher may read on your next visit, but does not enable the Site Publisher to identify You directly. Thus, the information you provide to the Site Publisher by filling in a questionnaire will not be asked of you again.

8. Communication of Personal Data
Under no circumstances will the Site Publisher share or disclose your Personal Data, except in the following cases:
- when you have given the Site Publisher your prior consent (e.g. for direct marketing purposes) ;
- when the Site Publisher must share your Personal Data with suppliers, service providers and in particular its technical service providers to enable You to use the Site and/or provide You with the information You have requested (storage of personal data on our Internet server hosted by our service provider);
- when the Site Publisher is obliged to do so by a judicial authority or by law.
9. Security
The Site Publisher makes every effort to protect your Personal Data against any form of damage, loss, misappropriation, intrusion, disclosure, alteration or destruction, in particular by :
- the use of an entry control system, using a name badge, to access sensitive sites and premises, including rooms housing computer equipment;
- protection of sites and premises by an intruder alarm system, backed up by guarding during non-working hours and/or days;
access to Site administration and data is restricted to authorized personnel only; - the implementation of preventive and curative security procedures, as well as control procedures for the management of security incidents.
Employees of the Site Publisher who, by virtue of their position, have access to your Personal Data are bound by the strictest confidentiality regarding the processing of your Personal Data.
