In a world that dislikes plastic, more than 85% of European consumers still prefer their plastic card.  However, this trend should reverse thanks to Generation Z and their affinity for innovation.

With 2/3 of Europeans who have abandoned a purchase if their preferred payment method is not available, online players are significantly missing out by ignoring consumer preferences and their need for fast and secure payments.

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) has an overall positive experience with consumers but nearly 1/3 of consumers see it a debt more than a payment method.  Request to Pay (RTP) highly favoured by consumers with over 80% that see it advantageous.
